you are my suunshine.....

so i spent a wonderful afternoon with this little one (cheyne) and his little brother (chad). i love how babysitting kids can remind you of how simple life is. So what were my worries this afternoon you may ask..simple






2 cups of milk

2 bowls of ice cream

4 1/2 bed time stories

2 clifford movies

2 sets of jammies

1 round of tickle monster

and lots and lots of lovin :)

i have recently learned to live by five rules in my life.

1. Deep water does not always mean drowning.

2. Love comes in deliciously unexpected packages.

3. Sleep is overrated.

4. I have secrets under my bed, apparently.

5. I will always be weird inside I will always be strange

its so great to have epiphanies after two decades of life!

I'm an emotional wreck. and its only the first week of summer. I'm ready for something though. I'm not sure what....I have so many expectations for this summer, and it feels like everything is. just is. and what about AFRICA?! i want to go really bad. waiting to hear about my acceptance (or denial). yea emotional wreck might just have been the understatement of the year...

it feels amazing to finally be done with school. but the downside of that is now is a full time job and i now know what 7 am looks like. its been a long day standing on my feet directing traffic to family members who are determined that they can find their own parking spots in the FULL parking lot. obviously 'Lot Full" signs don't seem to faze these people.
